Protein Power Balls Recipe - Yum!

I saw this recipe on the Bariatric Bad Girls Club 's Facebook page and I wanted to share.  I am always on the look out for a good way to get my protein in for the day.  This is a very satisfying little treat that is high in protein!


Protein power balls

1/2 c chocolate peanut butter
1/2 - 3/4 c quick cooking oatmeal 
4 -5T cacao nibs, 
2T flax seed, 
2T chia seeds, 
2-4 scoops of your favorite vanilla whey protein 
1T honey
Black Coffee (optional)

Mix all ingredients together .  If it's a little dry add the black coffee to moisten. ( skim milk can be substituted for the coffee, but the addition of the coffee makes the chocolate flavor pop). Take the mixture by the tablespoon and roll into balls.  Place the balls on wax paper and refrigerate two or more hours.  Enjoy.
